The Lee Downtown Community Garden is a place of beauty and abundance, where people come together to grow high-quality produce for themselves and local residents who may not have access to it. It is a welcoming space for being outside, learning and healing in nature, as well as sharing ourselves, our resources, labor and skills for the common good.
Lee Heritage Pollinator Path
Lee has a diverse economy and serves as the gateway to the Berkshires' rich cultural life -- music, theater, dance, visual arts, and natural beauty. Our downtown wildflower gardens and pollinator pathways along High Street honor nature's resilience, providing habitat for our beloved pollinators and birds, as well as a place of beauty for all to enjoy.

Building pollinator habitat in a paved environment requires a lot of patience and imagination. Some of the gardens you will see on this walk were just started this year, and some are now in their 3rd or 4th season. We hope this journey will ignite your curiosity, questions and most importantly a joyful connection with the plants, animals and people we hope to support.
