Hello garden growers! The season is careening madly towards fall, the garden simultaneously blooming and fading. Which means it's time for a harvest party! We are hosting a celebration on September 21, 2024, right after the Founder's Day parade. We'll be set up in the first parking lot behind St. Mary's Church from 11am-2pm and you are all invited to come. Hello garden growers! Thanks so much for all of you that were able to come and help build and plant. We have a new 50 foot raised bed along the north side of the garden with a lot more space for the veggies we will be planting this year. And we planted 4 beds with lots of root veggies and lettuces - this is the earliest we have ever gotten started and we are already seeing new seedlings sprouting up. Hello lovely gardeners, It's happening! Lee Community Gardens is having a harvest celebration tomorrow, Saturday, November 4th at noon to 1:30pm! Hello fellow plant lovers, Our pollinator pathway on High St. is in need of some TLC! We are having a weeding party on Sunday the 17th to make way for the new plants that will come up in the spring, and you are cordially invited ;) We'll be meeting from 1-3pm in front of my house, 121 High St. and working on 6 different verges along the block.
